Product Overview:
The Mary-Lou Manizer is a gorgeous highlighter. I would describe it as a high shine white gold. Its is a very pigmented product. This is going to give you a highlight you can see from space! This is not a subtle highlighter by any means. This product last very long on on the skin and wears away beautifully. It also blended easily in to the skin. This is a product that is universal for all skin tones from pale to very dark. There are a few cons about this product though. One of them being that the powder is very soft and does not travel well. If it is not secured well it can shatter. The second con is that you can go from nice highlight to disco ball in seconds. An application tip to help this is to use a fan brush to apply this highlight. Those cons can definitely can be overlooked for the greatness of this product, Over all if you love a bright highlight this product is for you!
The price of the Mary-Lou Manizer is $24 which for some people would be very hard on their budget. A great dupe and more cost efficient product would be The Balm Overshadow in 'no money, no honey'. The cost of this eye shadow is $15. In the swatches below there is a slight color difference and 'no money, no honey' seems a bit deeper in tone. When worn on the skin its hard to tell the difference. Either of these products will be a great highlighter!
